Note

The ingame votemap feature is only available on PC, as it relies on keyboard inputs in chat.
Console servers owners can still use a third-party tool to enable votemap on Discord.

Enabling votemap will allow your players to choose the next map to be played.

When enabled, votemap will superseed any defined map rotation.

In-Game Texts

These are the messages content your players will receive ingame.
Remember these messages pop in the top-right corner of the screen :
most players won't read them when engaged in an intense fight,
so try to keep them as short as possible.

Tip

Don't forget to click on the "SAVE CHANGES" button when done.

Reminder text sent to player to vote

Make sure you add the {map_selection} variable in it

Vote for next map
ie. for map [2], enter: !vm 2

{map_selection}

Hide vote calls:
!vm never

Thank you for voting message

This one isn't mandatory.
Leaving it blank will disable it.

Thanks {player_name} !

You voted for:
{map_name}

Help text

This one will be displayed when the player enters !vm help, a blank vote command or a wrong vote number.

Available maps: !vm
Vote for map [2]: !vm 2
Hide vote calls: !vm never
Reenable vote calls: !vm allow

Other settings

Players will be able to choose the next map from a selection of maps that are on a defined whitelist (see below).

Here you'll define the way this selection is made, amongst other things.

Player preferences

  • Allow user to opt-out of vote map reminders by typing !votemap never

    Recommended : enabled

Excluding

  • Consider offensive maps as being the same when excluding

    Recommended : enabled

  • Consider skirmish maps as being the same when excluding

    Recommended : enabled

  • Allow consecutive offensive map

    Recommended : disabled

  • Allow consecutive offensive where a team would play defense twice in a row. E.g off_ger followed by off_us

    Recommended : disabled

  • Allow consecutive skirmish map

    Recommended : enabled

Default (no one voted)

  • Allow default map to be an offensive

    Recommended : disabled

  • Allow default map to be a skirmish

    Recommended : enabled

Displaying the message

  • Reminder frequency minutes

Min : 0 (will only be displayed at match's end)
Max : a warfare match can last 90 minutes, offensive can last 150 minutes
Recommended : 0, as ingame messages are intrusive and players tend no to read them
Reasonable : 45 (mid warfare match, so it's displayed only 2 times)

  • Warfare

The number of warfare maps you want to be in your selection
    Min : 0
Max : as much as you have warfare maps in your whitelist

  • Offensive

The number of offensive maps you want to be in your selection
    Min : 0
Max : as much as you have offensive maps in your whitelist

  • Control skirmish

The number of skirmish maps you want to be in your selection
    Min : 0
Max : as much as you have skirmish maps in your whitelist

  • Number of recently played maps excluded

That number adds up to the current map, which is always excluded
    Min : 0
Max : as much as the number of maps in your whitelist minus two
    Recommended : 1

Tip

Don't forget to click on the "SAVE CHANGES" button when done.

Defining a whitelist

You can add as many maps as you want in the whitelist.

Warning

Having defined votemap whitelist in autosettings will overwrite your manual map whitelist.

Tip

Don't forget to click on the "SAVE WHITELIST" button when done.
