Wellness Weekend Email thread on April 27th

  • Publicizing dates early gives us all something to look forward to and targets for our organizational planning - Hope
  • Nobody will be surprised if we need to call off an event - Hope
  • Publish "cut off dates" if restrictions aren't lifted by then - Hope

  • treat family members who live together as "one quarantine unit" - Matt
  • have twice as many work parties with half as many people at each - Matt
  • organize working groups to limit the exposure of Q.U. exposure to each other. - Matt
  • serve meals outside under a tent - Matt
  • Install screen doors and fans in the dorms to increase air flow. Then sleep a dozen Q.U. in the dooms with at least 10' between each - Matt

  • Different Committee members take the lead of different work parties. - Jim
  • Post specifically what is planned for a particular work party and people sign up for those tasks - Jim
  • Day trips for the work party, maybe even go home and come back the following day - Jim

Additional Ideas

  • only kitchen workers on the 1st floor
  • masks worn indoors at all times
  • limit number of people in the bathrooms (1-only means no door touching, less sterilizing)
  • dorms accessible only via exterior doors, only for persons occupying them
  • zoo, dorms, & tow hut accessible in inclement weather
  • work party signups have $10 charge to cover food (ages 12+, so work parties don't cost the club)

  • as much outdoor air as possible
  • cloth masks when indoors or within 6' of others
  • 6' distance
  • head-to-toe bed positioning
