Dial Home Device (DHD)
DHD in-game
Dial Home Device is used to dial the gate, the Ancient way.
For the DHD to operate, you need 2 things:
- Linked gate
- DHD Control Crystal
Now, just point your crosshair at the glyph you want to enter and press RMB. Proceed to do it 6 times(7 if dialing cross-dimensionally). Press the Point of Origin(on the outer-ring, far left) and finally the Bright Red Button at the center.
Just place the DHD within 10 block radius horizontally and 2 block radius vertically from the gate's base block(or the other way around). The subspace link should be created automatically.
Control crystal is the heart of the DHD. It stores vast amount of energy(72M RF)(no longer a thing since 1.9). It and acts as an control facility for the DHD. Right-click the back side of the DHD and a nice GUI will appear.

To be able to dial cross-dimensionally, you should get one of those DHD Glyph Upgrades. Insert it from the back side of the DHD into the GUI, just like the control crystal. Now, you should use 8 glyphs to escape those Blazes ;). Or 9 if you're using the Universe Stargate.
