Full Flash Installation

Allows ARK-4 to be ran entirely from flash, allowing you to remove the entire ARK_01234 folder and/or the Memory Stick™

Most of the installed files will be small CFW modules that can fit in flash0 such as the VSH Menu, XMB Control, etc. Update server file will be stored in flash1:/UPDATER.TXT, and the current settings file will be copied to flash1:/SETTINGS.TXT.

Not all extra files can be installed to flash due to limited space, this means that the fancy Custom Launcher is now replaced with the much simpler PRO Shell and there are no translations available.

Though it's a Full Flash Installation, CFW Settings and other CFW files are installed in SEPLUGINS whenever one is available (which is used as the default ARK path when no ARK_01234 savedata folder is available). This means that ARK will still prioritize using the memory stick for certain things like settings.

If you run ARK Updater, the ARK_01234 folder will be re-created and ARK will go back to using the files stored in this savedata folder as long as it's available. If the memory stick is removed or the savedata folder deleted then ARK will go back to using files installed in flash.

Prerequisites

Setup & Install

1. Download latest release here (Unless already downloaded)

2. Open ARK4.zip (Unless already opened/extracted)

   1. If you do not have a zip program to extract zip files look into 7zip/peazip for Windows, or p7zip for *nix.

3. Connect PSP to PC

4. Copy ARK_Full_Installer from the PSP/ folder located in the zip file to ??0:/PSP/GAME/ (?? means depending on if you are using a PSP GO ef0 or any other model ms0)

5. Run the installer while running ARK-4 (can be within live ARK-4 CFW).

6. There are options that will dynamically change depending on your model. We added fatms371_mod to Full Flash Installer ( FFI ) for 1K's and 2K's as well.
