This version (finally) releases a Juggernaut model for our 86. Moreover, the HUD was entirely remade, offering a way more modern approach, thanks to artzeayuuh.
Third person and freelook were also added.

Changed

  • Added Juggernaut model

  • New Minimap Icons
  • N (by default) to toggle the Objective window
  • M to toggle the minimap window
  • settings to disable the cockpit view.
  • Hold Mouse Wheel Button to look at the juggernaut in Free view
  • V to swap between first and third person (first by default)

  • New heavy machine gun effects

Thank you to those who played the new version of this project. Most of the bugs encountered were fixed.

Changes

Story

  • Added dialogue between Ameise arrival and Ambush
  • Added zone to show ambush spot

Legion:

  • reduced wander radius from 100 to 30
  • Increase position spot time from 9s to 30s

Juggernaut

  • Increased Juggernaut secondary ammo damage from 5 flat to between 10 and 5, depending on distance travelled.
  • Reduced Juggernaut secondary ammo fire rate from 10 hit per seconds to 7

Scavenger

  • Added Scavenger Textures by Matsu Moshi

Ameise

  • Increased Ameise ammo damage from 5 flat to between 6 and 4, depending on distance travelled.
  • Reduced Ameise firerate from 10 to 8

Lowe:

  • Increased Lowe field of view from 250 to 300
  • Rotation speed increased by 50%
  • New bullet miss effect

UI

  • No ammo display when running out of ammo, no longer when releasing
  • Added HUD Window reset all button
  • Added HUD Window send backward button
  • Selecting a window put it to the foreground

We also added analytics to the project, a way to gather information about your game sessions. At the beginning of the game, you are prompted about it. If you agree to it, it will be used to gather information about the players, their achievements and their regions. This will be mainly used to prepare the multiplayer and where servers should be located. As well as seing you enjoy this game

Nerfed

  • Ameise and Lowe movement speed reduced by 50%
  • Juggernaut movement speed reduce by 60%
  • Lowe spot range reduced from 800m to 100m
  • Lowe rotation speed reduced by 50%
  • Juggernaut Secondary Ammo speed reduced (less range)

  • Juggernaut climbing and wire speed

v0.5.1-alpha: Graphics Settings

The 5.0 was a big leap forward for this project. Gaining a new map, having objectives and quests added more fun. However, this map is, certainly beautiful, but also terribly consuming in term of resources. Something that not everyone can afford.

Hence this release aims to fix bugs reported in the 5.0 and to help fixing performance issues for the players.

What's New

  • Graphics Settings window (Available in the Game settings)
  • Graphics Quality set to Medium by default (previously High, modifiable in Graphics settings)
  • Scavenger Tutorial in the Guide Section
  • Orange texture for Scavengers to replace the empty one.

What's changed

  • Scavenger Movement Speed increased by 100%
  • The Zoom Camera is no longer active when the zoom is off
  • Minimap and other HUD window default zoom opacity set to 1

Fixed

  • Removed flying building
  • The position of the Minimap and Quest Window were set to a better place (caused by a bug)
  • The 7 missing Ameises of the last part of the mission are now spawning correctly
  • Collisions by certain elements (rocks) that were too big

v0.5.0-alpha: The Counter Offensive

During the last release, the Legion got smarter and our soldiers had to fall back.

In this new version, you will, inside your beautiful Juggernaut, head into a patrol in order to investigate the positions of the Legion.
The Legion must not be aware of our future plans. Your final objective will be to investigate an old base and determine whether it could be useful to pursue our advance against them.
The Legion must not be a threat. DESTROY THEM ALL.

For that, using your scavenger to its full extent is necessary. Your mechs alone won't be enough to destroy an army of Legion.

This version 5.0 is released exactly 3 months after the version 0.0.0-alpha, in only 3 months, where we only had a "juggernaut" that could barely move (or go into space program), we went pretty far, and that's thank to you all <3 ! 🎊

v0.4.0: Legion's Attack

This version 0.4.0-alpha made Legion smarter by giving them the ability to wander or patrol in areas to eliminate what remains of humanity. In addition, players will start to discover the potential of the Juggernaut HUD by being able to customize their HUD: The position, the size, the opacity while zooming or while active, whether its enable or not.

v0.3.1-alpha: Zoom Window and Fido

Happy 06/08 day (idk I'm European).

This release changes the zoom system. It will now only zoom inside the zoom window. So by moving it, you can keep the zoom there.
Also, thanks to Riptide, we have a Scavenger model to replace the cubes. It is not textured so it is difficult to notice it with the gray everywhere.
