Update sparknotes:
- Rewrote note rendering again, bringing back screencovers, hitlighting and nice things like that
- Semi-3D noteskin effects now gone as nobody was using them and they are a pain to continue support for
- Reworked some UI stuff (lots of things look weird but are functional)
- You can hold / (by default) to get helpful tooltips on some things
- I rewrote themes (they're called themes now not skins) which are a bit more powerful
- Themes can add multiple noteskins to the game + do a lot more in future
- You can load multiple themes in a hierachy
There will likely be a 0.3.8.1 out soon with
- More helpful tooltips
- Rearrangement of some UI elements
- Tools to help with creation and editing of themes
Then 0.3.9 will aim to tackle major performance optimisations (I've got a plan in mind)

i did some ui stuff i think

anyway this fixes some bugs for the people who wanted to try out interlude and its pretty stable

ive kept you all waiting but dont worry this one is pretty slick
so much is different i can't put it all here without overflowing the ingame changelog so here's the rundown
- large amounts of codebase have been cleaned up/made neater/rewritten
- lots of UI improvements
- lots of stability improvements
- you can click in the bottom left to manage profiles and see your top scores
- a lot of stuff is still unfinished and this is an intermediate version just so i have a release that isnt half a year old out
- these rewrites are gonna start shining real soon (with the editor and some other nice things) once my uni term is over

- Fresh new background task management system (which should work better and be easier to understand)
- Chat box redesigned to help manage tasks and be bigger and stuff (press F8 to open and close)
- Holding left alt lets you change audio volume with the scroll wheel
- WIP "Change profile" menu dialog which shows your top scores for every keymode
- Ability to customize hit meter and combo number animations to your liking (not fully documented)
- Lots of code cleanup, bug fixes and laying down framework for more cool features
Might do a 0.3.6.2 in a couple days which makes it easier to do the gameplay customisations and extends the "Change profile" dialog further

- Delete the existing _fallback skin to prevent conflicts before running the new installer
- This is a formal reminder and warning that the chart format is going to change in the near future, resulting in all scores being wiped.

- Fixed loads of bugs
- You can now download from stepmaniaonline.net from ingame.
- All map management operations are queued up in the background, leaving you free to play.
- Added a 3rd dimension to the playfield. You can skin elements in (somewhat) 3D and have 3D perspective effects!
The game is now fairly presentable (fewer critical issues), so feel free to tell your friends!

Here's what's new
- Updated OpenTK to 3.0.1 to support dropping files into the window
- The plus button goes to the import screen where you can drop stuff into the game to import

Release v0.3
First public release to show what i got - Here's some things that work
- Converting your charts to the .yav format, loading and caching them
- Searching, sorting and selecting charts from the menu
- Playing and setting scores on charts including physical difficulty calculation and player rating (needs significant fine tuning, not yet complete)
- A handful of options and skinning functionality
- Some nice user interface stuff
- A couple of gameplay mods such as mirror and autoplay
You missed 0.1 and 0.2 because they were private releases
0.1 was the stage of just getting some engine stuff done and making user settings available
0.2 was the stage of getting the user interface looking real nice
0.3 will be all about important gameplay features with a focus on the difficulty calculator
0.4 will be around the time i start working on the chart editor
