utm.codes supports building links with the five standard parameters you're already familiar with.

  • Link URL - The full website URL (e.g. https://www.example.com)
  • Campaign Source - The referrer: (e.g. google, newsletter)
  • Campaign Medium - Marketing medium: (e.g. cpc, banner, email)
  • Campaign Name - Product, promo code, or slogan (e.g. spring_sale)
  • Campaign Term - Identify the paid keywords
  • Campaign Content - Use to differentiate ads

Link Tester

After entering a Link URL utm.codes will retrieve the url and check the response code. If the link looks invalid utm.codes will notify you so you can make any changes necessary.

Custom URL Parameters

If your link requires a custom parameter beyond those available you can include them in your Link URL.

Tip: There's no limit to how many custom parameters you can add to your URL, but less is probably more.
