What does an econservation record represent?

The conservation module records the condition and treatment of objects in the database related to their long term survival and conditions and treatments pre, post and during Exhibition.

Tab Switching:

Record Types:

Analysis Report

  • a description of a test run on an object to determine presence or absence of specific attributes (chemicals, eg arsenic etc.)

Treatment Report

  • a description of the treatments an object has undergone during the process of conservation.

Loan Condition Report

  • a formal report of the condition of an object of concern

Loan Condition Report - Incoming

  • a formal report of the condition of an object of concern during the incoming leg of an Exhibit or Loan.

Loan Condition Report - Outgoing

  • a formal report of the condition of an object of concern during the outgoing leg of an Exhibit or Loan

Loan Condition Report - Returning

  • a formal report of the condition of an object of concern upon return of an Exhibit or Loan

Loan Condition Report - During

  • a formal report of the condition of an object of concern during an Exhibit or Loan

Preparation

  • Documents the procedure used to extract fossils from their matrix.

Condition Check

  • a description of the current condition of the object. Includes any damage or degradation to the object.

Record Structure:

Parent/Child; linking to an event in the EveMasterEvent (Master Event) field will place an event above the current one. All events with the same Master Event will show in the EveSubEvents_tab (Sub Event) field.
