Thinstation-HZDR v1.14

This is release 1.14 of the HZDR fork of thinstation. It features the following improvements compared to the last release:

• updated Thinstation 5.5 environment (synchronized to latest 5.5-Stable branch).
• updated machine description files with support for latest 4.9.xx linux kernel.
• included xfreerdp version 2.0.0 with fixes for Windows 2012 R2 connections.
• added wireless package for adding support for wifi connections.
• minor optimizations and fixes.

Thinstation-HZDR v1.13

This is version 1.13 release of the HZDR fork of thinstation. It features the following minor improvements compared to the last release:

• fixed audio selection script including udev scripts to call it automatically while reconnecting a HDMI/DP screen.
• added support for 7th Gen NUC (Intel-NUC7i3BNB) hardware
• updated ThinLinc 4.8.0 connection client.

Thinstation-HZDR v1.12

This is version 1.12 release of the HZDR fork of thinstation. It features the following improvements compared to the last release:

• updated to latest thinstation-master branch (based on thinstation 5.5) with updated user packages.
• downgraded freerdp from the unstable master branch (v2.0) to the stable v1.1.0 branch because of performance problems with the Atom-based NUC models and certain RDP servers.

Thinstation-HZDR v1.11

This is version 1.11 release of the HZDR fork of thinstation. It features the following improvements compared to the last release:

• updated to latest thinstation-master branch (based on thinstation 5.5) with kernel 4.6.3 and updated user packages.
• updated intel NUC machine description files to load all necessary kernel modules upon startup.
• updated idle-shutdown package with fixes regarding daily idle shutdowns.
• fixed DHCP address lookup to query the DHCP server more often and with a sensible timeout between tries.

Thinstation-HZDR v1.10

This is version 1.10 release of the HZDR fork of thinstation. It features the following improvements compared to the last release:

• updated to latest thinstation-master branch with kernel 4.1.10 and our own radeon driver fix.
• included the new "xprintidle" package together with the updated idle-shutdown package which uses "xprintidle" to better identify times to automatically shutdown a thin client.
• added Intel NUCDCCP847DYE to supported NUC systems and adapted the kernel and firmware modules accordingly.
• integrated fix of 'pa-update-default-sink.sh' script so that headphones are working properly again.

Thinstation-HZDR v1.9

This is the 1.9 release of the HZDR fork of thinstation. It features the following improvements compared to the last release:

• updated to latest thinstation-master branch with kernel 4.1.8 and our own radeon driver fix.
• all identified disks (usb and non-usb) will now be automatically mounted under /mnt/HOSTNAME so that they are properly exported to remote RDP connections.
• all NTFS formatted drives will now be mounted via ntfs-3g rather than the kernel own ntfs which should improve compatibility to NTFS formatted drives.

Thinstation-HZDR v1.8

This is the 1.8 release of the HZDR fork of thinstation. It features the following improvements compared to the last release:

• merged repository to latest upstream thinstation 5.4-master repository including a newer base 64-bit kernel (4.1.1) with some own workaround to fix a radeon related kernel bug for the S700 Futro clients
• added FUSE-based NTFS-3g support for enhanced memory stick support
• optimized hzdr build.conf with seperation for each supported hardware platform.
• fixed 'pa-update-default-sink.sh' to correctly identify the active card profile and activate it accordingly.
• updated 'qutselect' to version 2.1 together with having integrated the old 'chooser' solution with pcsc-based smart card support.

Thinstation-HZDR v1.7

This is the 1.7 release of the HZDR fork of thinstation. It features the following improvements compared to the last release:

• merged repository to latest upstream thinstation 5.4-master repository including a newer base 64-bit kernel (3.19.3).
• implemented support for latest NUC hardware generation (5i3RYK/5i3RYH/5i5RYK/5i5RYH/5i7RYH) including integrated bluetooth and wifi support
• updated 'qutselect' tool to version 2.0.0 which has a Qt5-based user interface now.

This is the 1.5 release of the HZDR fork of thinstation. It features the following improvements compared to the last release:

• merged repository to latest upstream thinstation 5.2-master repository including a newer base kernel (3.14.20).
• implemented support for the Fujitsu Futro line of thin-terminals as well.
