Requirements

Initial Requirements for Bellhouse Phase 2

The following possible requirements have been identified for Phase 2 of the Bellhouse project:

General Requirements

• Project website, with page/login to Bellhouse application - 5 days, including finding / adapting template, agreeing/inserting content, hosting
• Easy out the box operation for gallery installation (turn on and be able to operate and record activity and play back existing recordings ) - DONE
• Change 'start recording' functionality to start sampling immediately
• Fix 'Stop playback' button
• Support for recording webcam output from application when you press 'Start Recording'
• Support for playing back video recording as well as audio recording when you select a recording from the dropdown
• Move audio and video recordings from Pi to S3? (or keep on Pi?)
• New page to expose and update bellhouse config (hats, servos, angles etc.) and test individual bells - DONE

Video playback

1. set up amazon s3 bucket and move video content
2. update JS client to list videos on s3
3. test playback of files off s3
4. change client to allow videos to be uploaded to s3

Project website

1. find content management system for website
2. twitter enabled/facebook enabled
3. link admin page to project website
