Badge Edition. Expansion module
There are two types of the expansion module available.
The first one is a bare-bone pin-to-pin cable. The second one is populated with MPU-9250 IMU sensor and MSM261 MEMS microphone.
The module occupies a miniature slot on the T-Echo main board.
Just plug it in like that and you are all set.
Certain pads of the cable have direct match to pinout of most I2C sensors on the market. One can use it to connect a BMP280 air pressure sensor (if your T-Echo variant does not have it built-in)
When a sensor is connected properly - it gets detected at boot time.
ATTENTION: the basic IMU support is a part of Release 1.2 firmware update.
The data from air pressure and/or IMU sensors gets displayed on the Baro and G load UI pages respectively.
There is an option to connect an external RS-232C device to UART pins of the T-Echo MCU.
