Clinical Test Data

martinhillyard edited this page Nov 24, 2021 · 9 revisions

The GP Connect demonstrator test data is designed to reflect a variety of data statuses and permutation rather than to be clinically correct. The test data is intended to expose features of the FHIR® resources to support technical and clinical testing of the consumer systems prior to and during assurance. Use this test data to clinically assure your product.

The test data will evolve with changes in the specification or additional scenarios identified to support testing. It is not intended to cover every data permutation, but it does cover a wide variety of common and edge cases from all GP suppliers. Some scenarios may be specific to some providers, but not all.

As we progress through the structured record development, further content will be added, but for each clinical area represented by the structured record we will provide test data record(s); readable conversions of the test data; data descriptions and/or frequently asked questions.

Hazard log

Our hazard log covers all clinical areas and identifies potential clinical hazards that could occur when using the GP Connect functionality through a consumer system and should support identifying clinical test scenarios.

Medications

  • Medication Test Patient 1 - this is a JSON mock-up of a medications response providing a relatively simple set of examples of medication records from GP systems created to support consumer clinical testing

  • Medication Test Patient 2 - an additional JSON mock-up with further examples, some of which are more complex scenarios

  • Clinical test data descriptions - this spreadsheet contains medication data extracted from the JSON response in a more readily viewable format. Reference values are included in the hidden columns to make it easier to find the medication in the JSON file if required.

  • Medications Frequently Asked Questions - through working with consumers implementing structured medications we have answered some common questions

Allergies and Adverse Reactions

  • Allergies Test Patient - this is a JSON mock-up of an allergies response providing a variety of allergy and sensitivity records from GP systems created to support consumer clinical testing

  • Clinical test data descriptions - this spreadsheet contains allergy data extracted from the JSON response in a more readily viewable format. Reference values are included in the hidden columns to make it easier to find the allergy or adverse reaction in the JSON file if required.

  • Allergies and Adverse Reactions Guidance - through working with consumers implementing structured allergies and adverse reactions we have answered some common questions
