Renewing a GP Connect certificate

Create a new certificate signing request (CSR) with the following details:

      Common Name (CN): FQDN on your endpoint* (see ‘Issued To’ on your existing cert)

      Keylength: 2048

      Country: GB

Leave all the other fields blank or as the default.

*The FQDN on your endpoint will have the format: gpc-<ODS Code>.<Domain>.nhs.uk

Send the CSR to the DIR Team (dir@nhs.net) along with your party key if you have that.

If your old certificate was issued by the NHS Level 1A SubCA, download the new Level 1C SubCA from here: http://nww.digital.nhs.uk/dir/downloads/pki/.
