D. Exploration and Analysis of Experiential Data

This page of the wiki will provide some details regarding the notebooks that analyze the experiential data first, independently of any fMRI data. There are three notebooks involved in this process:

  1. S10_SNYCQ_Exploration: this notebook does a first exploratory look at the data

  2. S11_SNYCQ_sbcNNMF_Hyperparameters: this notebook calculates optimal hyper-parameters for the application of the IFQF to the experiential data.

  3. S12_SNYCQ_Clustering_Confounds: this notebook performs tha agglomerative clustering on the low dimensional representation of the data, does computations to answer the first experimental question described in the manuscript, and also creates the figures and does the stats to see if there were any differences in terms of motion, wakefulness, etc. across clusters.
