Tasks

The task or 'todo' is a functional unit of care. Tasks are typically more discrete or focused than goals. changing a medication, getting some bloodwork, starting physical therapy, checking blood pressure at home are all examples of tasks.

Tasks can be associated with a problem but are not required to have this association. Tasks are accomplished or not (true or false). Tasks have the capacity to be commented on by users. Tasks can be assigned to members of the care team. Tasks can have a due date. Tasks can have media files attached to them.

Tasks that are associated with a problem are part of that problem's activity log.

Tasks that are added or accomplished during an encounter are timestamped for that encounter and create annotations for that encounters media file.
