Agenda

• Update on visualization task, including draft requirements doc
  • Please provide feedback by end of week
  • Next step, strawman code working on a test case; work on back end plumbing
  • Schedule is ok, let's just keep working on the phase 6b tasks so we get them done soon
• Discuss which cloud computing platform(s) to use for benchmarking
  • Start with the cloud solution for now as we figure out how much benchmarking we actually want / will use before buying hardware
  • Setup AMPO-based account for this through AMPO so everyone can use it
  • We should pick one platform - Azure or AWS; they are quite similar
  • We used Azure Pipeline for DaySim test system at RSG to run the Azure Pipeline jobs on local RSG hardware based on GitHub events
  • Add task in Phase 7 to design this system
  • The network models are being moved to the cloud as well; talk with your network modeling software company
  • Consistency of runs is important, especially for performance
  • Will the costs of the cloud-based benchmarking system outweigh the benefits?
  • Really important to have a reference run
  • If we keep reducing the amount of RAM needed, then over time we may not have wanted to buy so much RAM for testing moving forward
