Welcome to the Health Information Technology (HITECH) Advanced Planning Document (APD) app wiki! This is where we keep our design and research documentation.
18F is partnering with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to develop an app that helps states submit APDs easily, and helps CMS analysts review APDs more efficiently. As part of this effort, we’re interviewing state users and CMS analysts, developing prototypes, and testing our assumptions in usability sessions.
