This page describes the use of the File Analyzer.

If you launch the FileAnalyzer from a console window, error messages may appear in the console.
If you launch the FileAnalyzer from a Windows Explorer or Finder, a console may not be present. You can redirect console output to a file by selecting "File Analyzer -> Log Errors to a file". Output will be directed to your temp dir/FileAnalyzer.log. On MacOS, you may need to open a terminal session to access this temp file.
These operations were utilized in an earlier instance of the File Analyzer and have not been exercised in some time. Some refactoring may be needed to fully utilize these features.
