Eldenmoor
Eldenmoor is a dimension that players enter after defeating a witch. It's an alternate universe similar to the Overworld, but with unique features and biomes. This dimension has been a core element of the mod since the beginning, and there's still a lot planned for it. I've been working on these updates both on and off-camera.
Each biome in Eldenmoor is hand-crafted with custom blocks and designed with meticulous detail. Biomes play a crucial role in any dimension, and many are planned to mimic those of the Overworld. You can find a complete list of the added biomes on the Biome page.
Eldenmoor has some advanced mechanics that make up the ecosystem of the entire world. Also, some of these features expand into the base game.
Mechanics | Description |
---|---|
Plant Growth | Grass blocks grow tall grass and in some cases flowers above them naturally. |
Seasons | Each world has season support which ties into temperature which can affect other mechanics. |
Temperature | Each world has support for a vast temperature system that was released in 0.10.0-indev. Temperature has a total of seven modifiers that build up the temperature system in Tale of Biomes. |
Wind | Wind has been added to each world which has wind direction, and wind speed, wind is also a modifier for temperature. |
Crops are planned for a future version.
Food is planned for a future version.
