Tilled Soil is a special block created by right-clicking on Fertile Soil with a hoe. This action transforms the Fertile Soil into Tilled Soil, which is essential for planting crops and cultivating farmland within the game.
Tilled Soil functions similarly to Minecraft's farmland but offers additional mechanics.
- Planting Seeds: You can plant seeds on Tilled Soil to grow various crops, with growth behavior depending on the biome.
- Advanced Crop Mechanics: Crops planted on Tilled Soil benefit from unique mechanics that influence their growth, adding depth and strategy to farming.
When crops are planted on Tilled Soil, weeds may generate over time. These weeds negatively impact the growth speed of the crops, making it essential to manage them for optimal farming.
Rocks can also appear on Tilled Soil as time passes. Like weeds, rocks hinder the growth of crops, slowing down their development.
To ensure healthy plant growth, it's crucial to apply fertilizer to Tilled Soil before planting. Fertilizer enriches the soil, providing essential nutrients that the pH level can break down, creating a more favorable environment for crop growth.
