This is the 0.8.18 Alpha of the plugin.

Requires DWC 3.3RC1

Changes:

  • Custom Panels - Build new panels, and use them in your main layouts.
  • Object Model Values - New Colour and Text Orientation options.
  • Updated some UI elements to make the main window cleaner.

Change Notes:
Custom Panel Creation Mode can be accessed via the settings bar - You must add a new Custom Panel first before adding buttons and other items. The name of the custom panel will be used when selecting 'add custom panel' in the main layout edit mode.

SBC/DSF configuration users must ensure the plugin service is enabled according to the Duet Instructions, before installing this plugin

Known Issues :

  • Missing options in drop down selections - This is a symptom of a local level issue in the WWW folder (believed to be caused by redundant files left over from previous firmware upgrades). This is not a BtnCmd plugin issue. Please see this post on the duet forum for more information. If you choose not to remediate using the suggested fix, BtnCmd has a work-around in the plugin global settings, to disable selections and use radio buttons instead.
  • Installation Failed - You see a dialog with "Installation failed! InvalidOperationException in InstallPlugin: Cannot perform command because the plugin service is not started". This is because the SBC plugin service is not installed/enabled/working. This is not a BtnCmd plugin issue. Please refer to this post for more information.

Upgrade Notes:

If Upgrading from a previous release you must stop the plugin, refresh your browser, and then uninstall the plugin before installing a new version.

Make a backup of your config data. Uninstall the existing plugin first! If on already on Alpha 0.8.5+ your configuration data will be automatically upgraded on first launch. If you have issues with grid snapping after upgrading from a previous release try enabling and disabling the grid option in tab settings.

This plugin uses 3rd party js libraries which may download as part of the plugin installation. Ensure internet connectivity before you install.

Avoid installing plugins whilst a job is running.
