How to Download historical DAP agency data from Universal Analytics (UA)

This page provides instructions for two options to export and download data from the DAP GA360 Gov-wide Universal Analytics property.

Option A: ​​Export Your Data Manually (Note: this option has a limitation of 5000 rows)

1. Open the DAP Universal Analytics standard report of interest in your agency profile and customize it accordingly.

• Example: I need to export my referral reports from Jan 2022 - March 2024

2. Click EXPORT in the upper right corner and select your preferred file extension (.pdf, .xlsv, .csv)

Option B: Google Sheets Add-on

1. Another option is Install the Google Sheets add-on for Analytics

2. Make a copy of this template report Google created

3. Replace the 'View ID' in Row 3 with the View ID for your property and also update the date ranges. Note that adding significantly large date ranges might cause the add-on to fail.

4. Then run the reports. This will export data for the most commonly used reports from the GA UI. You will need to repeat this process for every View of data you want to archive.
