The DAQ used to control the NINscope utilizes the UCLA Miniscope DAQ PCB v3.2 developed by Daniel Daharoni with minor modifications and updated Firmware.

For details on the UCLA Miniscope DAQ PCB v3.2 go here

Materials

Solder the EEprom to the IC adapter. ( check part list) Make sure the pin-out is correct.

Break two parts of 4 pins of the 2.54 header ( 5-825433-0) and solder them to the adapter

Solder it onto the DAQ on the same position as how the DIP8 EEprom should be placed. (check UCLA DAQ documentation)

Place all the headers. (check picture)

Make a wire bridge with these parts. ( connector 2212S-02SG-85, piece of wire , heat-shrink (1.0/0.5)

Place jumpers and bridge. ( check picture )

Make a SMA trigger input cable with these parts.

Solder the white wire to the core of the SMA patch cable ( female end ).

Put a piece of heat-shrink onto it and solder the black cable to the shield.

Put a piece of heat-shrink to cover the shield wire.

Solder the black and white wire to these pads (check picture).

Set switch 3 at SW3 to ON. All other switches need to be set according to the UCLA DAQ documentation. You can find SW3 next to the EEprom.
