DISCLAIMER: this resource should be viewed as an add-on to standard protocol for rodent stereotaxic surgeries. Standard protocols have been published earlier (Cetin et al., Nat. Protocol. 2007, and others).
IMPORTANT: Those procedures must be approved by Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) and Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) and performed under aseptic conditions described in those approved procedures
This is an overview of a protocol for mouse stereotaxic surgeries. The main features of this protocol are:

Settings/playback speedchange the playback speed for videos. Videos are recorded in realtime to provide an estimate of the time required per operation.
