Clean Drive Dialog

The Clean Drive dialog runs the Greaseweazle clean command to perform a low-level cleaning operation on the selected floppy drive.

This operation is intended to help clean the drive heads and stabilize read/write behavior.

How to Open

  • Menu: Flux → Greaseweazle → Clean Drive

This dialog is available only when Greaseweazle support is configured.

Overview

The Clean Drive dialog executes a controlled cleaning cycle using the connected Greaseweazle device.

The operation does not read or write disk images. It interacts directly with the physical drive.

  • No disk image data is modified.
  • Cleaning behavior depends on the connected drive and hardware configuration.
