Stopping chimes from the toolbar
Once a chime starts playing in your browser, you may wish to stop the chime. Once the chime starts playing, a green play icon will appear on the Grandfather Clock icon on your toolbar. This indicates that a chime is playing. The chime can be stopped by clicking this icon.
NOTE: If you do not see the Grandfather Clock icon on your browser toolbar, please refer to the "Pinning extensions to your toolbar" section below.
On most internet browsers, you can pin extensions to the toolbar by clicking on the "Extensions" button on the toolbar. This typically looks like a puzzle piece and is located in the top-left side of the window. This should open a list that includec the Grandfather Clock add-on. Clicking on the pin button should add the Grandfather Clock add-on to the toolbar. On Firefox, the option to pin an add-on to the toolbar is accessible by clicking the gear icon.
If you are unable to find this option on your browser, please refer to your browser's support website or documentation for more information.
