Preparation for the Showcase
This poster summarizes our design and the process we went through for generating the design. It covers most of the things we decided to include at the meeting earlier. Interaction flow was not included as there was not enough space. Additionally, we added two more sections for discussing the research we did as the basis of our design, and future work that we would take to improve the current solution.
Flyers were used to briefly deliver our idea in a way that helps people quickly understand our application. Main features are summarized into 4 aspects to make it clear.
Since the poster provides a good summary for our project, the pitch is extracted from the content on the poster and is decided to be concise while being able to cover the following aspects. *Purpose: To preserve the traditional recipes of the world while also being to able to explain the cultural significance behind them.
- Target audience: An enormous amount of people; aiming at is anyone who is interested in learning about the varying cultures of food.
- How the system works: Three main ways of using as shown in the poster.
- What the prototype is going to show: A horizontal prototype which mimics the mobile application and aims to show the basic interactions of viewing recipes, submitting a request for a new traditional recipe page, and navigation within the system.
