Include the siteTagline()
shortcode to display the value for tagline
in src/data/site.json
(i.e., the mission statement or motto).
Code resides in shortcodes/site-tagline.js
where there is more technical inline documentation.
Call this.siteTagline()
wherever you can a string.
Make sure to pass the data
object as a parameter.
// layout.11ty.js
module.exports = function (data) {
return `
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
…
</head>
<body>
…
<footer>
<p>${this.siteTagline(data)}</p>
</footer>
</body>
</html>
`
}
