- Modelling of IWXXM (Presentation (Revised)):
- Current (legacy/product-centric) and upcoming (object/data-centric) approaches
- Importance in separating information and presentation/rendering requirements in regulatory documents
- Proposed Amendment 81 to Annex 3 as approved in METP/5
- Perceived (information) requirements by the team
- Stakeholder/modeller's consensus on meeting the requirements with the object-based approach
- A possible IWXXM model design for Am81
- Future collaboration
- Necessity to establish a need to come back for a design review and frequency
- Whether approval by METP is a good starting point for model development
- Quantitative Volcanic Ash (QVA) is a new information requirement in Amendment 81 which is missing from the requirement analysis. For this piece of new information it will only be distributed in IWXXM format. Choy will add this back afterwards.
- To facilitate further understanding of the modelling process, TT-AvData will come back to Paula et al with a first draft of the information model on VONA. The focus will be on (a) mapping of TAC elements into properties of the objects identified and also the collective, (b) need to unfold content in a TAC element into separate properties, and (c) a thought process on possible use of identified objects in other reports like VAA and VA SIGMET to test whether the objects are suitably described.
