DTA Model Design

Zones and Connectors

• Runtime related to number of zones. Proposed up to 200 zones in the subarea.
• Neil to forward number of zones (internal and gateways) for different area extent.
• All collectors must be all there in Emme network. Can directly import Emme network into Dynamaq.

Link Network

• Balance adding details so that it doesn't blow up.
• Lane and internal geometries.

Traffic Control

• Manually set for the focused area. Outside estimate using scripts.

Signal Timing

• County have GIS layer of traffic signals on all incorporated areas.
• Fine tune in 2 levels - priority (meridian and parallel) and remaining locations. Depending on number of signals. Outer area - estimator tool.

Calibration

• Uncertainty on the calibration.
