Sensitivity Tests

Several sensitivity tests were run to prepare SoundCast for use in the plan, testing sensitivity to pricing, networks, and land use.

This Tableau dashboard shows some model results from sensitivity tests with road user charges. These are four scenarios that were tested:

No Build (2014 network, 2040 land use) No Toll (2040 network & land use Toll 10/5 (2040 network, 2040 land use, 10 cents per mile during peak, 5 cents off peak) Toll 20/2 (2040 network, 2040 land use, 20 cents per mile during peak, 2 cents off peak) This Tableau dashboard shows sensitivity test results from assuming a 2040 transit system in 2014.

A sensitivity test also looked at understanding our bike model. Find out more here.

The wiki describes the basic theory and process to use PierceCast for travel modeling applications.
