How To: Multisig Wallet Creation

To create a 2/3 Bitcoin multisig wallet with a group of people communicating via a secure chat channel:

1. Create new Electrum multsig segwit wallet with 2 of 3.
2. Confirm your seed.
3. Copy your seed onto paper and store it somewhere secure.
4. Copy your xpub.
5. Close wallet.
6. Paste xpub in chat.
7. Wait for all 3 xpubs to be pasted in chat.
8. Open Electrum.
9. Create new multisig wallet.
10. Restore from seed.
11. Add the other 2 xpubs.
12. Complete wallet creation.
13. Post the receiving address of the wallet to the chat.
14. Check that everyone got the same address.
15. Create, sign and broadcast a test transaction using the wallet.
