Adjustable idler, 6-7mm belt, vertical extrusions ...
(see also D7IH)
This bracket adjusts and tensions an idler for:
- 6mm synchronous belts (e.g., GT2 MR5)
- 1/4" MXL timing belts
The bracket attaches to the following extrusions with a single M5 screw and lock-nut:
- 20x40mm aluminum extrusion
- 1020 (1"x2") aluminum extrusions
- 1030 (1"x3") aluminum extrusions
The bracket is fully adjustable in three directions:
- Bracket can be positioned anywhere along the track
- Idler height above extrusion can be adjusted +/-5mm.
- Idler can be tensioned with a slotted screw driver used to lever bracket away from drive pulley by 0-5mm.
To minimize idler flange wear, attach bracket to a vertical, Z-axis extrusion as shown.
Included:
- Idler wheel sleeve for 5x16x5mm bearing
- Bracket
- M5 3.5mm spacer (2)
