Function

The DL01 spindle lift push rod is driven by a servo to push up a spindle lift collar that pushes against a fixed attachment to the spindle. The push rod has two parallel arms to mitigate spindle angular A-axis error. The center part of the push rod also acts as a retainer that holds the ends of the rod onto the servo arm.

Assembly

Bend wire into the shape shown, below:

• the 2mm ends are best cut after the wire is bent
• the width and length are internal measures
• the arms are shown bent parallel, but can be bent beyond parallel to help push rod stay attached to servo arm

Complete assembly by inserting push rod into spindle lift.
