Configuring Toolkit for Imaging Tests

Background

The imaging tests in support of the XDS-I and XCA-I profiles require some additional files not included in the baseline toolkit. The majority of toolkit users will not be interested in these tests and do not need to clog up their disks with this extra data.

ImageCache As a New Cache Folder

The toolkit external cache contains several folders as part of the standard installation. Some folders may not be created until they are demanded by a certain part of toolkit. The existing folders are:

• actors
• environment
• simdb
• TestLogCache

We add the folder ImageCache to this collection of folders. The ImageCache folder contains image files used by simulators as they respond to retrieve requests. The ImageCache also contains reference data using during validation.

Installation of ImageCache

1. Retrieve the ImageCache.zip file from here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1gxn_f-bE_rZU5H06gwwjrZoZtDLafsMg
2. Unzip the file in your existing external cache. Make sure that the folder ImageCache appears and that it is not buried as a subfolder under a different entry.
