Connectathon folder and lifecycle tests
The Document Registry Folder and Lifecycle Connectathon tests have been updated to use the new Conformance tool. This page describes how to run and evaluate those tests.
The Conformance Tests tool is part of XDS Toolkit which is available on the Connectathon network here.
Background on the Conformance Tests tool is available [here](Conformance Test Tool).
The procedure for running of these two test suites is identical. All of the work is done in the Conformance Test tool
Within XDS Toolkit launch the Conformance Tests tool...
- In the upper right corner is a light blue box labeled Test Context. Click to open.
- In the top section you can choose a Test Session. Create/choose a Test Session named for your company. This will be your private work area.
- In the bottom section you can choose the system holding your Document Registry configuration.
- Press Assign System for Test Session to confirm your settings.
- Press the big X in the upper left corner to exit back to the Conformance Test tool.
- Select the Document Registry actor tab.
- Select the CAT Folder or CAT Lifecycle option tab.
- With your focus on the Testing Environment section at the top of the page, if this is your first time running this tool against this Registry (using this Test Session) then select the Reset box and then press Initialize Testing Environment. This will initialize your Registry with Patient IDs and test data needed for testing. All the test bars under Supporting Environment Configuration should be green. The Patient IDs submitted to your Registry will be listed following the test bars.
- You can run then all together by pressing the arrow in a circle icon in the bar labeled Document Registry - CAT Folder Tests or by using the run button on each individual test.
- The color coding of the test bars indicates test status: white for not run, green for success, and red for error.
-
Looking back to the start of the procedure when you created your Test Context, you declared a Test Session name using your company name. Log this name in the Gazelle chat window:
Test Context - [Your Test Context Name]
-
DO NOT DELETE YOUR TEST RESULTS. The monitor that signs off on this test will review your results in the tool.
- Find the Test Session name in the Gazelle chat.
- Launch the Conformance Tests tool
- Open the Test Context box in the upper right corner of the tool.
- Select the Test Session you found in chat.
- Verify that the System under test for this Test Session (bottom of the box) references the vendor's system. If not discuss this with the vendor.
- Click the big X in the upper left corner to close.
- The vendor's results should load automatically.
- Find the test bar labeled: Document Registry - CAT Folder Tests
- If the bar is green then the test is passed.
The procedure is identical, just select the CAT Lifecycle option at the top instead of CAT Folder.
