Update ExPresS XR

This page describes how to update your repository to the newest version, ExPresS XR. Be aware that this process might cause some errors, so back up your project before attempting an update.

Download the files of ExPresS XR either via downloading and cloning the projects "Main"-Branch.   Locate the folder at "Assets/ExPresS XR" in both your and the ExPresS XR repository. Delete the folder in your repository and replace it with the one from ExPresS XR. Do not combine the folders, as this will keep files that were removed or moved.

After a unity rebuild, there might still be some issues with your Input Actions or Localization. Do the same thing with the files in "Asset/Settings". Make sure that you do not delete your changes.

Automatic Updates

If you wish to keep your files in sync with the "Main"-Branch of ExPresS XR, you can add it as Remote via Git Bash.
