IEEE/LTSC xAPI Technical Advisory Group (TAG)

The IEEE Learning Technology Standards Committee (LTSC) has recently formed a new group to create an IEEE technical report as a reference and implementation guide for xAPI. This report will include the relationship between xAPI and related profiles like cmi5.

Members of the cmi5 working group are planning to attend.

Testing Requirements Document

The group resumed work on the cmi5 testing requirements document.

Section 6.3 was updated to add a blanket testing requirement for all LMS statements to include a context template.

• cmi5_6.3_3 All "cmi5 allowed" and “cmi5 defined” statements issued by the LMS MUST include the “content template” as defined in section 10.0 xAPI State Data Model.

Sections 9.6.3.2 masteryScore thru 9.7 Timestamp were also covered.
